Sold out! Aunt Molly's - Ground Cherry
Physalis pruinosa. Though still rare in grocery stores, you may have begun to see ground cherries at farmers' markets in the past couple of years. With their sweet, golden fruits that many describe as having a flavour with notes of pineapple, the ground cherry has become a favourite in our household to cook, bake, and preserve with. The plants are short, prostrate, and generally low-maintenance, a great choice for along a border or tucked in a sunny corner. $5 per plant
